View My Retrocessions

Overview

Retrocessions refer to the portion of transaction fees or other earnings shared back with distributors by the payment service provider. For Distributors, these amounts represent their share of the revenue generated through transactions.

This guide explains how distributors can view retrocession amounts and rates on various pages within the platform.

Note. These retrocession details are visible only to users with a Distributor profile.

A Distributor profile is set automatically in the application for each user belonging to a distributor organisation and where the user has an "Account" Level perimeter (i.e. access to all the associated companies and merchants, including inheriting future ones).

Acquired Transactions Page

On the Acquired Transactions page, Distributors can find the retrocession amount and rate associated with each transaction.

These details can be viewed as follows:

  1. Navigate to the Acquired Transactions Page, select the “Transactions” menu, then choose “Acquired.” Ensure your account is selected and any additional filters are applied as needed.
  2. Locate Retrocession Information:
    • Scroll to the columns labeled “Retrocession” and “Retrocession rate”.
    • These columns display the specific amount of retrocession and the corresponding rate (as a percentage of the transaction fee).
  3. How to read these columns:
    • Retrocession Amount: The actual amount paid back to the distributor for each transaction.
    • Retrocession Rate: The percentage of the transaction fee that is allocated to the distributor.
