Create a User Account

Open the List of Users

To create a new user account, start by navigating to the Administration view from the main menu.

Select the Users option in the menu to access the user management interface.

Hit the “Add User” Button

Click the Add User button located at the top-right corner of the page.

Fill in Personal Information

Enter the required details in the General Information section:

  • First Name (e.g., Jane)
  • Last Name (e.g., Doe)
  • Email Address
  • Role (e.g., Operator or Market Pay Admin)

Note.

First and Last names: These can only contain letters, dashes and spaces.
Email address: Make sure the email address you fill is correctly written. This address will be used as a login by the new user.

Fill in the User Perimeter

Note. The Perimeter is the most important part of the user profile since it defines what transactions and payouts the user will be able to see in the Merchant Portal.

This Perimeter contains: an Account, 1 or more Company and 1 or more Store.
The newly created user will be able to view the data attached to the store(s) in their perimeter.

The Perimeter section allows you to select the Account, Company(ies) and Store(s) a user should get access to.

Add specific stores, companies, or all entities within the selected account by checking the appropriate options.

Tip. If the new user needs to have all Companies and Stories within the Account, the quickest way to set it up is to check the "Add" & "Inherit new" options just after you've selected the Account.

Note. Users Perimeter management is submitted to the following business rules:

• A user can only attach to another user's Perimeter a company / store that they have in their own Perimeter
• A user can not remove a company / store from a user's Perimeter if he does not have the rights on this company / store

Fill in the Permissions

Select the features the user should be able to access within the application.

Use the Select All option to grant all available permissions if necessary.

Assign PayWish Access (optional)

When at least one Store in the user Perimeter is using the PayWish payment solution, an additional PayWish section is added at the end of the creation journey.

In order to give the new user an access to the PayWish application, check the PayWish User box and select the relevant PayWish store.

The user will receive a specific onboarding email from the PayWish app once the user has been created.

Finalize User Creation

Review all entered information and assigned permissions.

Click the Create User button to finalize the process.

What’s Next for a New User

The newly created user will receive an email including a link they'll have to use to set up their password. Once their password is defined, they'll receive a second email with some useful information about the Market Pay Hub and a link to this User Guide.

Important notes.

• Only users with the appropriate permissions can create new accounts.
• Double-check the details to avoid errors that may affect account functionality.
