Do not Disturb mode

This guide walks you through how to manage the Do Not Disturb (DND) feature within the application. This feature ensures your payment process is seamless by suppressing  notifications, sounds, and vibrations from other applications.

1. Log In to the Application

If this is your first time launching the app after installation, you will see an Initial Explanation Modal.

  • Purpose: This modal explains that the app will automatically mute interruptions during payments.

  • Action: Read the information and acknowledge the prompt.

  • Note: This is a one-time message; it will not appear again in future sessions.

2. Do not Disturb Activation

Once you accept to activate "Do not Disturb" Mode, the application redirects you to you device settings from which you should :

  • Search for the application by typing in the application name

  • Enable by setting the Toggle to On

  • Go back to your payment application

3. Impact of Do not Disturb mode

You don't need to do anything manually to trigger the silence during a transaction.

  • When it triggers: As soon as you initiate a payment.

  • What it does: Mutes non-essential notifications and vibrations from other applications as well as phone calls

  • Completion: Once the payment is finished, the app automatically restores your device to its normal volume and notification settings.

4. Disable / Enable DND

If you prefer to have notifications active during payments or want to ensure the feature is on, you can adjust this in your settings:

  1. Navigate to the Settings menu.

  2. Locate the Do Not Disturb toggle.

  3. Switch the toggle On or Off based on your preference.

  4. Your choice will be saved and applied to all future payments.

5. Reliability and Errors

The Do Not Disturb feature is designed to be "fail-safe." If the app encounters a technical error and cannot activate DND mode:

  • Your payment will not be blocked. The transaction will proceed normally.

  • No error messages will appear. You will simply receive notifications as usual during that specific transaction.
