Upload Applications locally

This guide outlines the process for installing applications on PAX Android terminals (A920Pro, A35 ...) using the Paydroid Tool SDT.

Ensure your terminal meets the minimum OS version required, list below 

🛠 Prerequisites

• PAX Android Terminal: for non-signed application, ensure it is a Debug Device (indicated by a "DEBUG only" watermark on the screen).

• Paydroid Tool: Installed on your Windows PC (raise a request if you don't have it).

• USB Cable: A micro-USB or USB-C cable (standard charging cables may lack data pins).

• APK File: The software application you wish to install.

Installing via PAX Paydroid Tool SDT

This is the standard method for developers to "push" software directly from a PC to the terminal.

Step 1: Preparation

1. Connect the terminal to your PC via USB.

2. Launch the Paydroid Tool on your computer.

3. Click the "Add" button in the main interface.

4. Browse and select your .apk file.

   Note: If you are updating firmware, change the file section from Application to "Firmware Download" Mtype dropdown in the file browser to "All Files" to see .zip packages.

Step 2: Deployment

1. In the tool's file list, check the box next to the application you just added.

2. Click the "Download" button.

3. The tool will show a progress bar. The terminal may reboot automatically once the installation is complete.
