This guide explains how password management works on the Market Pay Hub platform, including first-time setup, password reset, and token expiration rules.
First-time Password Setup
When your account is created on Market Pay Hub, you receive a Set Up Password email. This email contains a secure link that allows you to create your password for the first time.
Steps to set up your password
- Open the Set Up Password email you received.
- Click the secure link or button in the email.
- Choose a strong password that meets the platform’s requirements.
- Confirm your password and submit. Your account is now active.
ℹ️ Important If you never set up your password and later request a password reset, the system will generate a fresh reset token for you. |
Resetting Your Password
If you forget your password or need to change it, you can request a password reset at any time – even if you never completed your initial password setup.
Steps to reset your password
- Go to the Market Pay Hub login page.
- Click Forgot Password.
- Enter the email address associated with your account.
- Check your inbox for the Reset Password email.
- Click the Reset my password button in the email.
- Choose and confirm your new password.
Token Expiration
Each password reset email contains a secure, time-limited token. The token details are as follows:

| Token validity | 24 hours from the time of the request |
| Expiration time display | Shown in the email below the reset button, in CET (UTC+2) |
| Expired token | If expired, request a new reset – a fresh token will be generated |
| Multiple requests | Each new request replaces any previous token; only the latest link is valid |
⚠️ Note If you request multiple password resets, only the most recent email link will work. Previous links are automatically invalidated. |
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I never set up my initial password?
No problem. Simply use the Forgot Password option on the login page. The system will send you a fresh reset link, and once you set your password, your account will be fully activated.
My reset link is not working. What should I do?
The link may have expired (tokens are valid for 24 hours) or been replaced by a newer request. Request a new password reset and use the most recent email you receive.
Can I reuse an old setup or reset email?
No. Only the most recently generated token is valid. Always use the latest email you received.
What time zone is the expiration time displayed in?
The expiration time is displayed in CET (Central European Time, UTC+2).
