Overview
The Merchant Onboarding feature in Market Pay Hub allows you to create and activate new merchants end-to-end, directly from the Hub. The process replaces the previous Spring Community Page workflow and is structured in three sequential steps.
Note: All three steps must be completed before a merchant is fully active and able to accept payments.
The Three Onboarding Steps
1. Create a Company Register the merchant's legal entity. Depending on the offer type, this step includes a Know Your Business (KYB) verification.
2. Create a Store Define the merchant's point of sale, linked to the company created in Step 1.
3. Add Solutions Configure the payment solutions associated with the store.
You can track progress across all three steps at any time from the Submissions page.
Offer Types
The onboarding flow differs depending on the offer type selected during company creation.

Note: In the current version, the distributor or retailer fills in the KYB form on behalf of the merchant directly. The merchant does not receive a direct invitation link. KYC data becomes visible in Spring only once the KYB process is complete.
