Payment Terminals - Payment App

Payment app version: payonsite-4.6.0

Note.

Pay On Site 4.6.0 limited release

Pay On Site 4.6.0 is now available in limited release, alongside Master Application 1.3.7.2.

Both versions will remain in limited release for four weeks, with general release expected on 27 July 2026. During this period, we will monitor stability before rolling them out more broadly.

Resellers and customers can opt in now by selecting these versions during onboarding.

If you encounter any issue during the limited release period, please report it to MP Assist. Early feedback helps shape the general release.

🌟 Improvements

Remote control of cent display on terminals

Resellers can now use Spring to remotely enable or disable cent display on their merchants’ payment terminals.

When cent display is disabled for a merchant, the merchant’s terminals no longer display cents in payment amounts.

Tap to Pay on Android

🌟 Improvements

Improved lifecycle emails

Lifecycle emails have been updated with a clearer design and easier-to-follow guidance for users.

The improved emails are available in all supported languages and include updates based on feedback received during client onboarding.

The following emails have been improved:

  • Welcome email
  • Activation email
  • Password reset email
  • Receipt email
  • User suspension email
  • User deletion email

Custom Help links for white-label Tap to Pay apps

The white-label Tap to Pay app can now display customised User guide and FAQ links in the Help section.

This allows partners to direct users to their own support content directly from the application.

Improved Play Integrity checks

Play Integrity checks have been improved to make the attestation process more reliable and resilient.

The application now retries Play Integrity API calls when temporary network issues or Google gateway timeouts occur. Retry attempts are spaced out to avoid adding unnecessary load during service degradation.

The attestation service can also adjust the Play Integrity security level dynamically based on real-time quota usage.

🔧 Fixes

Refunds available across users in SSO mode

Refunds in SSO mode are no longer limited to transactions made by the same user.

Previously, the transaction list was filtered by the user ID identified when the application was initialised. This filter has now been removed, making it possible to refund transactions made by another user.

This behaviour is now aligned with standalone mode.

Improved receipt search behaviour

Fixed an issue where receipt search results were not refreshed after the search query was changed.

The previous results are now cleared, and a new search is performed each time the search input is updated.

Tap to Pay on iPhone

iPhone app version: 1.1.0

Note. We strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version of the app as soon as it becomes available. Each new version includes bug fixes and performance improvements that resolve known issues and ensure a more stable experience.

🚀 New features

Reporting section for Tap to Pay on iPhone

Tap to Pay on iPhone now includes a reporting section, giving merchants direct visibility into their transaction activity from the app.

Merchants can view daily and monthly summaries showing net sales, calculated as purchases minus refunds and cancellations, together with the corresponding transaction count.

Detailed transaction data can also be exported as a CSV file for record-keeping or reconciliation.

Refund option can be disabled

It is now possible to enable or disable refunds for a specific app version and flavor.

When refunds are disabled, users no longer see the refund button on transactions that would normally be eligible for refund.

Refunded transactions remain visible in the transaction history.

This helps improve issue tracking and service analysis for each client configuration.
