Add Terminals to a Store

Whenever a new physical payment terminal needs to be linked to one of your stores, you can attach it yourself directly from the Hub — no support ticket required.

Before you start

This option is only available for stores that already have a Terminal Payment solution set up. If you don't see the option described below, check that this solution exists on the store first.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Administration > Perimeter from the left-hand menu.
  2. Set Level to Stores, then use the filters to find the store you're working on.
  3. Click the store to open its details panel.
  4. Scroll to the Solutions section and locate the Terminal Payment solution.
  5. Click the menu next to it, then select Add terminals.
  6. Set the Activation date — this is when the terminal(s) will start being active on the store. You can choose today's date or any date in the future.
  7. In the Serial Numbers of Terminals to Attach field, enter the serial number of each terminal you want to link:
    • Type a serial number and press Enter, or separate several with commas.
    • You can also paste in a list of serial numbers copied from elsewhere — they'll be recognised automatically.
    • There's no limit to how many you can add in one go, so feel free to attach a whole batch at once.
  8. Once everything looks right, click Submit.

What happens next

You'll see a confirmation message telling you how many terminals were successfully added to the store.

If one of the serial numbers you entered is already attached to this store, it's simply skipped — you'll get a message listing which ones, so you know exactly what happened. There's nothing to fix on your end; if you still need to attach the others, just resubmit without the ones that were flagged.

Good to know

  • Double-check each serial number before submitting. The system checks whether it's already linked to this store, but it won't tell you if the number doesn't match a real terminal — so accuracy is on you.
  • The activation date can't be set in the past.
